NuVasive Surgical neuromonitoring & imaging platform

A medical device manufacturer · full-stack contractor

A platform used during spinal surgery had to keep gaining capability without compromising the codebase in a highly regulated industry. I built C#/.NET services over MS SQL Server and migrated the TypeScript component front end on Polymer to Lit. Created the packaging, localization, data-verification and simulator tooling in Node.js to ensure quality and improve development speed.

While employed at GE, I designed REST microservices in Java, Node.js and .NET Core over MS SQL Server and PostgreSQL for both topologies, built Angular and Polymer front ends, set the team's engineering standards as technical anchor, and hired into it.

Real estate

Partner integration backend service, with web and mobile frontend

A real estate platform · engineer, contract

Integrated a real estate platform with a new partner. Data had to move reliably in both directions between a client product and an outside partner's system. I built and consumed REST APIs and webhooks using TypeScript, Node.js, and Google Cloud, while adding supporting frontend functionality to React web app and React Native iOS and Android mobile apps.

Nanny Paycheck Calculator

Household payroll and tax software for families employing a caregiver with scheduling, time tracking, paycheck generation, tax reporting guidance and reminders. I designed it for my own needs, built it, shipped it to the App Store and Google Play, and support it in production. Flutter and Dart on the client, Firebase Cloud Functions in Node.js and Cloud Firestore behind it.
